Requested Prescription Powers
( for
novel display only) add-----$5
Someone with optical knowledge may want
to give a novel gift by ordering a lens design featuring the powers
designated in a doctor’s prescription. If requesting lenses
according to specific powers remember minus powers are thin in the
center and thicker on the edge. Plus powers are just the opposite so
lens design capabilities vary. (It would prove to be more difficult
and time consuming to do a detailed carving deep into a minus
powered lens because the thin center doesn’t allow the depth
required.)
Artist will not etch on lenses to be used for
spectacle production or on customers existing eyeglasses.

box is customized with LED lighting and easy access coin cell
batteries. Solid mats are oval or rectangular. Custom mats are
available with original pen & ink drawings associated with the theme
of the lens. Additional cost--$10.
